Bio Vegan Frappato
Created from an ancient grape variety typical of southeastern Sicily, this organic wine is distinctive for its pleasantly fragrant bouquet of fresh red fruits, raspberries and blueberries, while its taste is both lively and soft.
Grape varieties: Frappato
Vineyards: sandy soil, situated at approximately 200 m above sea level; training system: guyot
Raccolta: by hand into crates, in September
Maceration: cold maceration for 24 hours
Fermentation: for approximately 10-15 days at a controlled temperature (22-24°C)
Ageing: in vasche d’acciaio inox e 1-2 mesi in bottiglia
Alcohol content: 12,5% vol.
Colour: vivid ruby red with violet highlights
Nose: pleasantly fragrant bouquet of fresh red fruits, raspberries and blueberries
Palate: lively, fruity and smooth
Food Pairings: excellent partner for pasta dishes with tomato sauce, sweet and sour vegetables, or with the classic Neapolitan pizza. It is also a valid alternative to white wine when served with flavourful seafood dishes.
